City Edge on Elizabeth
I stayed at the City Edge apartments for a few nights
whilst in Melbourne and was very impressed. The apartments
were modern, newly decorated and clean and had everything
you required to make your stay comfortable. The apartments
are self-service so no room service but this did not matter
to us. I would definitely recommend staying here to others
and would 100% stay here again if I was visiting. Compared
to hotels they were much more reasonable and just as nice.
The apartments are right in the city and about a 5 min walk
to Flinders street station so a perfect location!

This unit offers value for money at a great location in Melbourne. The hotels are simple - not little shampoos or shower caps. But they are BRAND NEW, beautiful, and run really well. They are a little noisy during the day but quiet at night. And so comfortable, clean and stylish. I enjoyed my stay and will be back.

City Edge East Melbourne
We live in country Victoria and needed accommodation for overnight due to having to go to a party in Melbourne. We had just arrived recently from an overseas vacation and money was short, so looked up what was available for "less" cash but near or in the city. City Edge apartments came up as being reasonable. I then remembered we had stayed her 18 months ago for a couple of days and it was just fine. They have three sets of flats in close proximity with each other in a great part of East Melbourne. Cost was only $A99 for overnight. We arrived and we were in a different building than the previous time. Our overnight accommodation was on the first floor in Albert Street, and had a small living room, separate kitchen, Queen bed (two singles together) and a separate bathroom. It was very hot and they had already put the air conditioning on - fantastic. There were adequate supplies of towels, but bring your own shampoo, conditioner as only small soap was supplied. They do have coffee, tea, sugar if required. Great place if you wanted or needed to spend a few weeks in Melbourne.

What a fantastic experience, brand new apartments, staff
falling over to help you all the time (the maintenance guy
even took up our bags and showed us how to use all the
appliances!!). The apartment had -- dishwasher, washer
dryer, microwave, security intercom, "giant" aircon, all the
little appliances, hair dryer, toaster, radio... you name
it.
As for location, location, location what can I say, it is
right in the CBD of Melbourne next to trams etc.
This is a great place to stay...

City Edge on Elizabeth
From the moment I arrived I knew it
was going to be an enjoyable experience.
The security was good, foyer well lit and very clean. I
stayed in a delightful 1 bedroom apartment on level 2,
facing the laneway. The lounge room was spacious and had a
relaxing feel to it. Kitchen was spotless and easy to use
modern appliances. Bathroom had great shower pressure, soft
towels, lovely soap that didnt dry my skin and a washing
machine/dryer that saved the dreaded trip to the Laundromat.
I found the bed & pillows to be so comfy, and extra blankets
just incase. Everything has a clean, fresh and nurturing feel
to it. It was such a pleasure to come home to. I had spent 3
weeks in a penthouse prior and the view was stunning but the
environment lacked that homely feeling. Here at the City
Edge on Elizabeth, I truly felt like it was my own little
hideaway - Management and staff really should be proud. I
have told all my family & friends and will be making many
visit in the new year. The location is well suited, easy
walk to the CBD, QV markets or Aldi's in Franklin St. As a
light sleeper it was perfect for me, no noisy neighbours,
no smelly hallways or drunken behaviour at 3am. If you are
looking for a private but upmarket apartment I would highly
recommend this one.
